Hans Ellegren (Professor of Evolutionary Biology, Uppsala University) has been
elected new Secretary General of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. He will
take office at the turn of the year 2021-22.

Hans Ellegren is responsible for the theme Theoretical Biology of the SCAS Natural
Sciences Fellowship Programme.

Bo Rothstein (August Röhss Chair in Political Science, University of Gothenburg)
has been presented with H.M. The King's Medal (8th size with the Order of the
Seraphim ribbon).

Bo Rothstein was a Fellow in residence at the Collegium in the autumn term of 1991.
